Many companies around are using GHG Protocol standards and tools to manage their GHG footprint and make a difference for the climate by improving energy efficiency, developing new products, and participating in GHG programs and markets. The GHG Protocol provides a credible and effective emissions accounting process and reduction programs for tackling climate change.
The EPBD was designed to tackle climate change by reducing the amount of carbon produced by buildings via improvements in energy efficiency.There are two types of 2 types of energy certificate required for new and existing buildings: EPC is required on construction, sale and lease of buildings, and DEC is required for public buildings with 1,000 m2.
