Envido awarded contract with Elekta for energy assessment and technology installation services

Based in Redhill, Elekta is a human care company pioneering significant innovations and clinical solutions for treating cancer and brain disorders. The company develops sophisticated state of the art tools and treatment planning systems for radiation therapy and radiosurgery, as well as workflow enhancing software systems across the spectrum of cancer care.

How Envido is delivering savings for Elekta:

Envido are carrying out a full energy audit for Elekta, and has installed smart and sub meter energy monitoring equipment.

Envido’s expert energy auditors are carrying out an inspection and analysis of all the energy consuming equipment on site and their control strategies, leading to an understanding of energy flows through the building.

Envido's Smart and sub metering technology will provide Elekta with information on a real time basis about its energy consumption. This information includes data on how much gas and electricity they are using, how much it is costing them and what impact their consumption is having on their carbon footprint.

The Envido monitoring platform has been designed as a highly resilient, multiple client hosted solution from the outset. All users can access all aspects of the system using standard web clients, with no requirement to install any software. The data is displayed in real-time, using simple graphics on any web browser. Sub meters will also be located in different buildings, floors or departments to help Elekta identify areas and periods of highest energy use.

With Envido’s aM&T software, users can build their own bespoke reports as a once off or set the system to automatically generate and deliver them to designated recipients daily, weekly or monthly.  This unique service also allows you to communicate directly with your energy supplier to eliminate estimated bills.
