Camden-based company Envido has been shortlisted for a Environmental Excellence in Camden Award

The Camden ECCO Awards take place yearly and recognize outstanding contributions to environmental sustainability in the Borough. This year the Awards are sponsored by Better Climate for Camden, the London Development Agency, Camden Council and Enterprise. Envido has been shortlisted for a Environmental Excellence in Camden Award for its work in providing innovative energy efficiency and carbon reduction solutions to organisations in London and across the UK.

Russell Lerman, co-Managing Director of Envido said: “We are absolutely delighted that our work in helping companies reduce their carbon impacts has been recognised in this way. A lot of hard work has gone into launching and implementing our products by both our staff and clients. Our Smart metering and flexible staff training and communications products have been a huge success…showing we are improving services and also tailoring them to meet our clients needs.”

Envido works with over 90 companies of all sizes throughout the UK including Sony, Sky, Wandsworth Borough Council, Turner Broadcasting and many more. Their approach is to provide simple and cost-effective solutions to help organizations of all sizes understand their environmental impacts and make positive changes to reduce their costs and carbon footprint, without imposing any extra burdens.

Winners will be presented with their award by the Mayor and the Leader of Camden Council at a special event in the Mayor’s parlour in Camden Town Hall on 21st April.
